Intervista 2023 a SYLVIA EISENTRAUT Ventura Travel
My name is Sylvia and I am the Marketing Director for Ventura Travel in Germany. During the past few days with GIW I saw the production of Parmigiano Reggiano, the production of Prosciutto and that of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar. We also visited Bologna with a super exciting organisation, we had an excellent guided tour with the producers who explained to us how the products are made. I think I can truly say that I now know Emilia much better..In any case I think the best experience was the hospitality and the wealth of products I saw here in Emilia Romagna.
I think the people are really inviting, they love their products and they love to talk about their region. Another great experience was today's visit to the Salumificio Leonardi because we really saw how prosciutto is made and why it is so special in Emilia. Today's workshop was organised in a prestigious location and it was also very interesting for us because of the meetings with DMCs, hotels, haute cuisine schools, which broadened our experience not only in Emilia Romagna but throughout Italy because we had the opportunity to meet operators from Veneto, Puglia, Sicily, etc. So a very good organisation to savour the Italian experience
